Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderous holiday season! I did! It was so nice to have time to see my friends and family. I spent loads of time in Norfolk for Xmas and it is beautiful there, really peaceful - and in the winter, quite bleak. Like an old painting. I really managed to relax! Then I went to Berlin to see my friend and got trapped there! The flights were all cancelled because of the snow. I had to ring the record label like a spoilt child and ask them to get me a flight back! SO they did. Then I felt so lucky to have such support. Believe me, I wouldn’t have been able to do that 12 months ago, I would have been stuck! So it got me in perspective a bit about how far I’ve come and how lucky I am!
I had a great time in Berlin, bought lots of weird things in the flea markets they have there. I think they are cool anyway, but most of my mates have said they are disgusting!...It’s an acquired taste I say!

Doing Jools Hollands Hootenanny was amazing. Did you see it? I will put the videos below.

That really made my year! Believe me, I was very nervous. The calibre of performers that night was very high! I nearly died meeting Paulo Nutini. I would absolutely love to sing with him one day. He’s amazing.

So it’s the beginning of 2010. I hope you have all got your tickets to my tour in march? I will be delighted to see and meet you all! I love the people who come to my shows- always so genuine and so lovely….

I am hoping to start writing for a next album this year and also take this one abroad. Lets see what transpires.
