Wow it’s been a while hasn’t it? So I have a new album coming out, Fall to Grace (May 28th). I am so thrilled! Welcome to my brand spanking new website. I love it a lot I was so lucky to work with a wonderful illustrator on this one, thinks like me! Her name is Victoria Sin. I could sit wandering round this weird outdoor indoor Paloma Faith world for hours. But alas I cannot, I have promo to do!

So…. Fall to Grace…… It’s been a little while in the making I know but I am very pleased with the outcome and am literally beside myself with excitement about going on tour with it. I suppose you could say it’s a little more serious than my last record. I feel closer to the songs. When you make your first album it takes so long because you are writing while trying to get a record deal and trying to get out of your dead end job whilst still making your rent etc. This meant that some of the songs on album one (Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful?), were like, five years old.  A lot changes in a person in five years so I didn’t necessarily feel as emotionally close to some of those songs. But with this album, it’s all very fresh. I tend to find myself getting pretty emotional when singing them because it’s all so recent. It’s for this reason that I say that maybe it’s a little more serious. I had the real good fortune of working with some amazing producers. Nellee Hooper did the main bulk of it with co production from Jake Gosling and there’s a song produced by Al Shuckborough too and some string arranging from Guy Barker and David Arnold. I might be the luckiest person alive after being able to work with all of them. Nellee, Jake and I became really close in the process and it felt so stimulating and fulfilling to be working with such incredible human beings. I think when you hear it you’ll hear my obsession with cinema and with exquisite tragedy and beautiful lies…. It’s all there on a platter.

I am so glad and excited to be back.

I will announce tour dates and everything as soon as possible on this website so stay tuned. I’ve also got a lot of amazing new merchandise coming too.
